Who to contact

Math Infinitum is operated by its developer. For questions about your information or to request access or deletion, email mathpath6316@gmail.com.

Mailing list

If you enter an email address and choose Subscribe, we use it to send a confirmation link. You join the list only after you confirm. We then use your email address for occasional Math Infinitum updates about videos, courses and major projects. Creating an account does not join the mailing list.

We keep your email address, subscription status, consent source and relevant dates in a separate mailing list table. A confirmation token is stored only as a hash. To limit abuse, we temporarily keep a keyed hash of the requesting IP address in rate-limit records; the mailing list table does not store the raw IP address.

Every mailing list update will provide an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops future list emails. We retain an unsubscribed record so we can honor that choice and let you opt in again; you can also ask us to delete your mailing list record using the contact address above. Unconfirmed and subscribed records remain until they are updated or deleted. Old rate-limit records are removed during routine operation.

Website accounts and learning

An account is optional for reading lessons. If you create one, Supabase Auth processes your email address and sign-in details to provide confirmation, sign-in and password recovery. The website stores your profile and the learning progress or practice activity you choose to save. Mailing list consent is separate from account registration.

Service providers and video

Vercel hosts the website, Supabase provides authentication and the database, and Resend delivers our confirmation and mailing list emails. These services receive the information needed to perform those tasks and may keep technical request or delivery logs under their own policies.

Video thumbnails and the official embedded player are supplied by YouTube. Loading a thumbnail or playing a video may send your IP address and device information to Google under its privacy policy.

Your choices

You can read published lessons without an account or mailing list subscription. You may unsubscribe from mailing list updates using a link in an email, and you can contact us about access to or deletion of information associated with your email address. The website uses session and theme settings to provide account access and your selected appearance.
